A Place Where Ideas Become Visible.

I've been making things for as long as I can remember. The medium changes, but the impulse just never has. I'm always returning to that blank page, curious to see what it might reveal. Over time, I realized I wasn't just making images, I was asking questions: about the world, about other people, about myself.

"Zero sum" became the name for that pursuit. Some pieces start with a clear idea; others show up through intuition or a season of life that won't stay quiet. I rarely know where they'll end, and I've come to value that uncertainty.

This isn't a portfolio in the traditional sense. It's a record of experiments, missteps, discoveries, and the occasional moment when something honest rises to the surface. If there's a common thread running through these projects, it's that creating is how I understand who I am.

Everything here is part of that conversation.

Simple materials become temporary forms. Built from hand-cut bristle board, styrofoam, wire, light, and photography, this collection marks the beginning of a visual language I've continued to explore. Each piece exists briefly—just long enough to be photographed. The photograph becomes the lasting form, preserving a moment between the handmade and the digital.

Paper Works.

These pieces explore memory through constructed tableaux. Natural objects, found photographs, and handmade arrangements become quiet stages where personal history and symbolism overlap. Each composition is assembled by hand before being transformed through the camera into something both familiar and imagined. Each leaves space for its own meaning to emerge.

What Remains.

Why So Serious?

Expressing life’s existential dread doesn’t have to be serious all the time. Take a cue from Mr. Sad Sack here: just because we’re doomed doesn’t mean we can’t be cute and colorful.

Illustration gives my more playful side somewhere to go. Turning these characters into stickers has allowed them to leave the page and find their way into the world around me.

These faces have traveled the world, becoming a playful way to share my work and connect with people along the way.
